In The Power of an Optimized Press Release: PRWeb’s Story, we show you how press release optimization helped raised the visibility of our own press releases.

Also important to note: the newsworthiness of a press release. Hopefully you’re carefully evaluating the value of your news release to your audience. If your release doesn’t explain in clear writing how it benefits your readers, you’re already missing the mark. The summary line in the 2006 and 2007 releases lack this, while the releases from 2011 hook the reader with why it’s important to them.

    The second case is much more impressive…. in the first case, your read rate went from @25% (awesome!) to 5.5% or so.  I think more than anything that that speaks to the power of the attention-getting Nacho Libre headline….
