Jiyan Wei
Director of Product Management

As Director of Product Management, Jiyan drives product platform strategy and roadmap execution for PRWeb, the leading online news distribution service. In addition he supports strategic business planning, partnerships, and marketing/sales. Prior to Vocus, Jiyan served as Vice President of Online Services for v-Fluence Public Relations where he was responsible for defining and developing services to monitor and analyze online activity. He earned a BA in English from Georgetown University and Masters in Media/Communications from the London School of Economics where his dissertation focused on media production and consumption in social media communities. He currently sites on the vendor council for the Society for New Communications Research (SNCR) and maintains a blog, New Influencer, where he writes about media and technology.

Frank Strong
Director of Public Relations

Frank is the director of PR for Vocus the leading provider of on-demand software for public relations management and champions PR programs, including media relations and social media efforts, for both Vocus and PRWeb.  Previously, Frank was the director, Marketing Communications for B2B software maker Managed Objects, which was acquired by Novell in November 2008. Frank got his start in PR in the agency world working for PR firms big and small including Hill & Knowlton and the SheaHedges Group (now Speakerbox Communications) and has primarily serviced clients in the start-up/technology and venture capital markets.  He earned a BA from Worcester State College and holds an MA from American University and an MBA from Marymount University.  He is a member of PRSA, IABC and maintains a blog, Sword and the Script and writes about the application of PR and marketing.


Stacey Acevero PRWebStacey Acevero
Community Manager

Stacey is the social media community manager of PRWeb. In this role, she engages the online community through PRWeb social channels such as Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn daily with articles and conversation about PR, small businesses, SEO, social media and more. She is all about creative social media marketing ideas as well as building the PRWeb brand. Stacey also pens of some of PRWeb’s case studies. An early adopter of social media, Stacey was news-on-demand project manager and a 4-year veteran of our Vocus media research center before joining our marketing team. She attended the University of Maryland at College Park, majoring in communication. In her spare time, she has managed her own modeling career entirely through social media, launching her own marketing campaigns and landing herself in publications nationwide.

Chris Pilbeam
Senior Writer

Award-winning journalist, copywriter, author and writing coach Chris has been telling stories professionally for ten years and he still loves his job. He also loves helping other people tell their own stories better. His golden rule: less is more, which is why his profile is short.

Chris holds a BA from the University of Oxford.

Frank SalattoFrank Salatto
Writer

Frank joined the team in November 2010 and has already helped build much of the content you see on PRWeb.com. As well as great writing, he’s also interested in great Search Engine Optimization – the art of getting your content seen and read by more people online. He’s an SEO novice, but he’d like you to join him as he explores the techniques that earn you better visibility, so you can start scaling search engines together.

Frank is an avid DC sports fan and holds a BA in journalism from James Madison University.
