PRWeb Takes Performance-Enhancers

June 18th, 2008

Over the years the volume of news releases distributed over PRWeb has increased dramatically. As the volume of content on our site has risen, we have made a variety of structural and technical changes to better accommodate the millions of bloggers, journalists and consumers (and search engine crawlers) who visit our site every month.

Last night we rolled out some new enhancements to the way we display images so you should see much faster load times on the Home page and other pages throughout the site.

A faster Web site will mean a better experience for the people reading your news release, improved placement for your news release in search engines, and that we will be able to continue releasing cutting-edge multimedia and interactive elements without worrying about slowing down the load time of your news release.
